How to Swim Explanation

IMPORTANT SWIMMING!
Hey! You! There is something important you need to know...  Swimming! It's really helpful because it can save you from danger.

So just imagine you are in a boat and you fall out and you have no life jacket can you swim? No?  Well, well, well, you should've listened to your teacher at school.

This is how you swim. First have your face flat on the water and then you have your body flat on top of the water and one of your hands too.

Put the other hand in the air and then put your hand on the water as far as you can reach and put the one in the air on top of the water.

Put the hand on the water underneath and put the other on top of the other side on top and do that with the other. After that put the other hand up in the air. Do this over and over again while kicking your feet and are you swimming? YES!

Do you want to dolphin dive? That is easy. Put your hands in the air together and jump. Then dive. You did it! Easy right?

Now one of the hardest (I still need to practise it) the starfish. Yes I know it sounds easy but trust me it’s not. There are two starfish. The easy starfish and the hard starfish.

This is the easy one: put your face in the water looking down and make your arms and legs like a star. You are done the easy starfish but now the hard. Put your head looking up into the sky and make your legs and arms like a star AGAIN. It sounds easy but no it's not.

“What do I do now swim teacher?” you might ask now. Well that is almost all the swimming lessons I know.

How to Swim Freestyle

To learn how to swim in New Zealand is one of the things you will learn in life because we are surrounded by sea. If you don’t know how to swim freestyle listen up.

First, once you get in the pool you want to position your body so your face and your body are lying on top of the water looking down in the water.

Then you want your arms to do a 360o turn going past your ear to your legs.Once your arm comes past your ear into the water you want to curve your hand so it goes softly into the water. Do two arm strokes while your head is in the water facing down. Then once you do your third stroke you want to turn to the side so you can get a breath and do that repetitively.

To breath you want to do three strokes and on the third stroke you want to lean on your left arm and you need your face turned to your right. Breathe in as much air as you can and as your next stroke comes, slowly turn your head into the water and slowly breathe out your air. By the time you do your third stroke repeat.

To get moving you have to kick your legs so your legs goes up and down swiftly. But you want to have straight legs too. Make sure you feet aren’t going crazy and kicking everywhere.

Then you want to put all of the things I told you and do them altogether.Thank you for reading this. Be safe and have an amazing time swimming.

How to Swim

Swimming is an important lesson everyone in New Zealand needs to know. If you are at a beach and the tide is really strong and you get washed out to sea, you will need to learn to swim and this is how you do it.

1. The first thing you need to know is how to keep afloat  above the water.

2. You need to start off in the shallow end. Then you need to move your arms around and around in a sort of motion until you are moving and then you start kicking.

3. When you are kicking and moving your arms make sure you are looking at the bottom of the pool which makes your body flat against the the top of the water.

4. When you are going swimming again well you need to learn how breath and swim at the same time. Well you’re in luck because I know how to do it. When you are kicking and moving your arms you have to tilt on your side with your ear on your arm and always remember you only have a few seconds of air so make it quick.

5. When you have done that you will have to do that until you are where you want to be.

How to Swim

Swimming is the most important thing because if you are in the water and you don't know how to swim you will drown.

One more thing New Zealanders should know how to swim because if you go surfing for a weekend and you fall off and you don't know how  to swim you will sadly  drown too.

The first thing you should do before you swim is always face your head down and watch the black line when you swim so it's swifter and comfortable before you breath. If you are sticking your head out of the water you will sink.

Your torso has to be flat because if you don't you will sink to the bottom .

Always keep your back straight and your legs together so you don't slow down. If you do that you will slow down but if you don't do that you won’t slow down, you will get faster.

Have flippy and floppy feet because it will help you steer yourself. If you don't, you go crooked and you won’t want that to happen to you at all.

Introduction
If you do not know how to swim you should practice. If you fall in the ocean water and if it is too strong and you go out there alone you will drown. How you breath you have to breath bubbles underwater when you swim.

Put your back straight and kick and do freestyle.
  1. It's important to swim because you can do backstroke, butterfly swim,
  2. This is how you swim at school you can do anything.
  3. Put your back straight so you can float and really kick.
  4. It‘s good too because you can do any kinds of things in the pool.
  5. You now have to get good at swimming because what if you fall off the waterfall or a ship or something like that.

Explanation - How to Swim

It is important that you know how to swim because you could drown any time you are around the sea, a river or just an ordinary pool. But if you do know how to swim, you can just swim away to land. It’s also good to swim because you’re exercising your body, and that can help you stay healthy.

This is what you have to know about your body position. First you have to get in the water. You have to make sure that when you lie down flat, your body is straight otherwise you won’t float. When you lie down in the water your head should be facing down and your chin should be near your chest. This is also known as the gliding position.

When doing freestyle, you reach with one arm, bend your elbow, then you bring down the arm that you’re reaching with down, and do the same with the other arm.

Once you’ve done that about three times, you turn your head and hips to the side to breathe and keep your ear on your shoulder. While your head is down you should be blowing out bubbles from your mouth.

Kicking is pretty easy, all you need to do is keep your legs together and straight. Then you just kick on the surface of the water, with flippy floppy feet.

Now that you know how to do freestyle I am 90% percent sure that you won’t drown in a pool that is too deep for you. You will also be very healthy and fit.

Diary Writing

It was a hot boiling day. People were sweating drips of sweat, the sun was shining also glimmering. I was so hot I thought I was burning to crisp.

It was morning. The birds were singing. It was 9am, the delicious food was cooking. My mouth was watery. I couldn’t wait to eat. We got ready to go to the humongous Hunua Falls. My uncle drove his car like a cheetah running a million miles an hour.

When we arrived, the others slowly walked while me and my uncle rushed to the waterfall. I walked in the water. It was cold as frosty snow. Later on my aunty and sister came with me. We took photos of ourselves on the hard slippery rocks.

Later on we went to the other side where there was a dark creepy cave. When we got to the other side the water was so close that I thought it was as big as the Sky Tower. Finally we went home after eating delicious Subway.
