The Black Hat

Once upon a time there was a little boy. He had no friends but that didn't worry him because he loved exploring. Now it may sound dumb to have no friends but the little boy was different, he thought that friends were dumb and stupid.

In a way he was right because he found some amazing things from the dark, spooky forest. One time he found a real Egyptian armour and a book of magic spells.

One day he snuck out of the house and went out exploring through the dark, creepy, damp forest hoping to find something new. When he got to the forest entrance he took a big gulp and a shiver then ran really fast like a cheetah.

Suddenly he  tripped up over something. Ohhhhhh woow slam! The boy got up with salty tears in his eyes and scratches on his legs, but that didn't stop him from his adventure.

After the incident the boy was curious about what he tripped over. He thought it was a little branch but he knew it wasn't a branch so he went back to where he tripped and he found a black hat.

He leaped into the air with excitement and yelled, “Yippeeee!” then ran back home. The boy tried the mysterious hat on. “It fits!” the boy yelled. He wouldn't take off the mysterious black hat.

It was finally night time so the boy gently put the hat beside his bed and drifted off to sleep. That night something magical happened. Glorious peaceful creatures crawled out of the hat. The creatures sparkled like diamonds in the sun.

The boy woke up with excitement he couldn't believe what he was seeing. But he was selfish he kept the wonderful, mysterious creatures in a rusty old cage.

The creatures started to get depressed and their glimmering color started to fade like a weak joke. The boy began to feel sad too so he opened up one of the cages and grabbed the creature. Wosssshhhhh! The creature flew out of the little boys hands then dashed through the dark forest.

The boy rushed outside and ran after the beautiful, lugubrious bird. After a few minutes the boy finally found magical bird on a old, raged tree. The boy burst into tears and cried, “Please, oh please come back to me magical bird.” The bird didn't make a move so the little boy sadly walked back home.

Meanwhile when the boy got home he noticed that two more birds had escaped. The boy screamed loud enough to shatter the old dirty windows. He quickly blazed through the forest andto where he remembered the first bird was.

At last the boy reached the destination and saw all the magical birds sitting on the tree. Then something shocking happened. The birds started fly in circles and because they had a beautiful color it looked like a disco ball. The boy suddenly knew what he had to do so he dashed back out of the forest and ran back home. He was going to let out the other birds.

He said good bye to the birds then opened the cages. Whoossssh! The birds scattered out of the window then into the forest. The little boy ran too because he wonderd what was going to happen. Finally they reached the location where the birds got in a big clump and flew around.

Suddenly all the other forest animals started joining in. It was like the forest was having a party. The birds finally had freedom and the boy had animal friends.
