Valediction
My journey here has come to an end. I
don't want to leave because my friends and favourite teachers are at Manurewa
Central School.
Thanks for the teachers who have
taught me in the past and for the support they have gave me along the way at
Manurewa Central School.
The teachers Mr Moosa and Mr P touch
us soccer and only a few people made it in. I was so excited that I made it in.
A couple days later we went to War Memorial Park. We played and played games
and won most of them. It was fun and exciting.
In the middle school I performed in a
production. Thanks for Ms Turner for teaching me for the performance.
I liked to thank the teachers who gave
up their lunchtimes to teach us soccer, basketball, rugby, touch, and hockey.
Sadly I have to move on to
intermediate on the next journey on my education. Thank you again to all the
teachers who helped me along my journey here at Manurewa Central School. I will
always remember the school motto Effort Brings Reward.

The Black Hat
There was once a lonely,
young boy who lived with his mute grandfather, in a dark damp forest. The
little poor boy was lonely so in the evenings he would go out in the pitch
black damp forest hoping he could find something new.
He tripped over a black hat
and placed it on his head. He was told to take his hat off but he refused. When
he went to bed he put it away. Later that night he was amazed at what he saw
when he came out of his deep slumber. It was a collection of beautiful rainbow
tattooed birds, caterpillars, owls, snails and all the animals of the animal
kingdom.
The next day he went
looking for the amazing rainbow bird. It was pitch black now but he had seen it
shimmering in the distance. He got up close to it and told it to come down but
it hesitated and didn't listen.
Next he went back home to
bed and later that night two more went flying away. Later he knew where to go
so he went to the same place and you know what, they were there with the other
bird. Later he got a light bulb in his head. He went running for his life all
the way home to let the birds free because he knew that they belong outside
free.
