The Black Hat
There
was once an ordinary boy who lived in the forest, with his grandparents. He
lived in a little cottage in the middle of a scary dark forest. There were a
lot of beautiful birds and wild animals. He quietly tiptoed along the cracked path.
His feet cracked some branches that were laid on the ground, and there was a
humongous dark brown log in the way. He saw a big crack in the middle of the
log which he just noticed that he could fit into. So then he wriggled through
the crack and finally made it to the end.
Suddenly
the boy saw a black hat. He quickly ran home and took it into his bedroom.
After a while he had to go to bed and so he laid his black hat next to bed.
Once he was slowly starting to fall asleep, away to dream, he saw something
come out of his hat. He woke up and he saw three beautiful birds and a lot of
beautiful creatures. He was so amazed at what he saw. He Hurried to his kitchen
and quickly grabbed some old jars. Then he ran to his room and put them into
the jars. When he finished he noticed that he had some spare cages on top of
his shelves. He quickly grabbed each cage and put the creatures in.
Days
past and the animals were still in the cage but then he saw a missing creature
had got out of its cage. He went searching through the dark creepy forest to
look for the bird. A few hours later he was so tired of looking for the bird
that he gave up looking but then he saw a flash of colour. It was the bird hiding in the tallest tree. He
begged for the bird to come back in the cage but the bird refused. “Please come back and live with me. Please
oh please come back”. Surprisingly he saw something gleaming in the corner of
his eyes. Something shiny and sharp that looked like a piece of the bird’s
claw. Suddenly he sobbed and said. “Why
won’t they come back to me?”
The
next day he went out searching into the dark damp forest and went to look for
that tall tree. He walked and walked until he found the tree. All the creatures
were sitting on the branch in a line.
He
noticed that they didn’t like their cages and escaped out to the wilderness. He
also had known that they wanted to be set free and so he let them free. When he
let them free they spread their wings and flew away into the sunset. He walked
home feeling miserable so he thought while he was walking about what he could
do to cheer himself up. A few minutes later he thought that he could visit the
animals again someday. And that was the end of story.
The Black Hat
There was an ordinary, young, and short boy who had no one to socialize with. He lived in a village down in a deep, damp, dark forest with his old grandmother who was mute, wise and tall.
Unfortunately there wasn’t much things this young boy could do, so one day he set to explore the forest . He walked until he saw something gleaming out of the corner of his eyes. He walked a couple more steps and then stopped. It was a black hat peeking through the side of the gigantic brown tree. At that moment he reached down with his long fingers and grabbed the hat. As he glanced at it, suddenly beautiful things started to emerge out of the hat and drop onto the hard ground.
Surprisingly it was creatures like white birds, colourful butterflies and outstanding lady bugs. He was so amazed . “This hat is the best!” he explained. He put the hat on and never took it off. Immediately the boy caught the doleful creatures, put them in rusty, creaky cages and carried them home. As he strode through the dreadful, forest with mud flicking up the back of his gold shoes, he slid around in the wet, moist mud, with the freezing, wind blowing past him. He could smell the fragrance of the frosty grass that was growing through the flooded glimmering gardens.
Finally he arrived at his house. The boy wiped off the mud on his shoes and tiptoed like a mouse to his room with not a single sound. The boy put the animals up on his shiny, sparkling silver bench for display. He was fascinated by the colours, textures and features. He loved the hat so much that he would never take it off his head. Everytime he had lunch or dinner he put the hat on, but when it was night he would take it off and lay it down beside him. He gently laid it beside him. The boy then drifted of to sleep and snuggled into his warm, snugly, comfortable bed, dreaming of what life would be like if there was so much wonderful things to do and if there was sunlight. Meanwhile he started opening up his eyes. The boy woke up amazed at the sight that laid before his eyes.
He got the shock of his life waking up to strange things crawling and flying on his smooth face. He loved these creatures. The boy then got the poor little creatures altogether and put them in a big, peaceful and scary box. Finally he thought to himself. ‘I should let them be free’, so he took them outside and opened up the creepy, dark box. He watched the creatures slowly fly and crawl away in front of a pitch black shadow in the dark behind them.
By now they were set free in the air flapping and fluttering under the horizon through the dark, dusty grey fog. The creatures colourfulness was blending in with the stars of the night sky. While the little boy was watching them fly over the rough, noisy sea, listening to the birds chirping away.
The Creepy Black Hat
Once upon a time there lived a small boy with his wrinkly,
old grandma. She was mute. They lived in a lustrous black, damp forest. He had
no friends but he was tough enough to control his fear. He wasn’t scared, it
wasn’t a problem in the pitch, black, damp forest where there was not that much
sunlight. The boy looked curious as he went into the forest.
The diminutive boy was lonely. Until he found a creepy black
hat. He picked it up, he placed it gently on his head. He grew attached to it.
So at night he gently popped it under his bed.
Then beautiful glimmering birds and butterflies appeared as
he saw beautiful birds flap around. He thought that he could use them for his
collection. The next day when he woke up. The birds had escaped. He tried his
best to get them back as he glanced at their beautiful wings flapping around.
As he tried and tried then then he felt foolish because he couldn’t get them
down.
When he went inside, he saw the next cage was open. Another
bird had escaped. Then he thought that he should let them go to live free and
travel to another place.
The Black Hat
There was a small boy who lived in the
deep dark gloomy forest. He lived with his old wrinkly, mute grandma in a
wooden old house in the dark forest.
He was going for a walk in the forest. He
was a lonely. He found a lost black hat. He was amazed at what he found. The
hat was on the brown muddy ground. He always wore the hat every day.
One day he put it on a cupboard. He fell
asleep. Then colourful amazing birds and beautiful animals came from the big
black hat. He woke and saw it. He was amazed at the animals.
He got them and put them in cages and jars.
One day when he went to look at them one
bird was gone. He went to get the bird.
He found it. He began to get the bird but it was in a big brown tree. He didn’t
catch it. He went home.
The next day he found two more colourful
birds had escaped. He went to look for them and he found them. He begged the
birds to come back. He looked up and saw the birds putting on a colourful show.
He knew what to do now. He ran home. He
got the jars and let the animals go free. He said “Sorry.” He was ashamed of himself. The animals did an
amazing show.
If you find animals don't keep them in jars.
Let them free. The hat was a mystery.
The Black Hat
There was once a lonely,
young boy who lived with his mute grandfather, in a dark damp forest. The
little poor boy was lonely so in the evenings he would go out in the pitch
black damp forest hoping he could find something new.
He tripped over a black hat
and placed it on his head. He was told to take his hat off but he refused. When
he went to bed he put it away. Later that night he was amazed at what he saw
when he came out of his deep slumber. It was a collection of beautiful rainbow
tattooed birds, caterpillars, owls, snails and all the animals of the animal
kingdom.
The next day he went
looking for the amazing rainbow bird. It was pitch black now but he had seen it
shimmering in the distance. He got up close to it and told it to come down but
it hesitated and didn't listen.
Next he went back home to
bed and later that night two more went flying away. Later he knew where to go
so he went to the same place and you know what, they were there with the other
bird. Later he got a light bulb in his head. He went running for his life all
the way home to let the birds free because he knew that they belong outside
free.

The Pink Ball
Many years ago, there
was once a little, ordinary girl named Hannah. Hannah was very lonely, the only
company she had was her great-aunt. Hannah and her great-aunt lived in an old
hospital, in the ruins of a big city. It was very hard for Hannah to
communicate with her aunt because her aunt was deaf.
Every day Hannah
would go outside the hospital to see if she could find anything interesting in
the other old buildings. One day as Hannah was wandering around the cracks and
ruins of the city, she noticed something shiny in an old train window. Well at
least it was shiny to her because everything else was quite dull. She jumped
and almost tripped just to get a better look.
The next day, as soon
as Hannah woke up she gathered all the sharp rocks she could find from in the
front of the hospital and sprinted as fast as she could to get to the old train.
As soon as she got there, she started chucking the rocks as hard as she could
at the train window. At last the window broke. Hannah reached inside and
retrieved a large pink ball.
On her way back to
her hospital home she noticed a dim glow inside the ball. Hannah’s eyes widened
and she started walking faster. When Hannah finally arrived home she became
curious about the ball. She bounced it and bounced it and bounced it until she
heard a massive pop. Rainbow glitter flew everywhere, her grey room became an
explosion of colour. Beautiful rainbow creatures flew everywhere and some even
crawled on the ground.
Hannah’s favourite
creature looked like a little puppy except it was covered in beautiful, glowing
rainbow tattoos. Hannah loved the rainbow explosion so much that she didn’t
want it to escape. Before long, she had every rainbow bird, bat and beast
locked in cages so they wouldn’t escape. It was a prison for the creatures.
The next day when
Hannah woke up she noticed that one cage was open and there was nothing inside.
Hannah screamed so loud that all the creatures in the cages tried to cover
their ears. Luckily for her, she didn’t get told off because her great-aunt
couldn’t even hear.
When Hannah finally
calmed down, she decided to go and search for her creature. It took her almost
two hours until she realised the missing creature was on top of an old mailbox.
“Please come back to me!” begged Hannah. “I really miss you”. Sadly, the
creature didn’t even want to move. Hannah ran home sobbing.
When she got back to
her home she decided eating will make her sadness go away. Hannah ate as much
food she could find in the old fridges, even though the food tasted stale. The
next day when Hannah woke up she saw two more creatures had left the cages.
Hannah was so stressed. “Why can’t the creatures just stay with me,” she cried.
Once again Hannah
went out to look for the creatures. She remembered the old mailbox and ran
straight there. All three creatures were hanging around the mailbox. As soon as
Hannah said a word, the creatures put on a jaw dropping performance. The
creatures flew, crawled and ran all over the place.
When they had
finished, Hannah realised she had to let the creatures go, in order for them to
show their true beauty and make the city bright again. Hannah sprinted home as
fast as a cheater with a huge smile on her face. As soon as she arrived she
unlocked all the cages and all the creatures shot outside. From that day on
Hannah enjoyed the beauty of her city and never tried to hide anything
beautiful again.
The Phoenix Locket
There once was a boy called Bill.
He lived in a small cottage at the end of an deep dark forest with his
grandfather. They were quite isolated from life really . Bill’s life was quiet,
but he liked having long walks in the woods, hoping that one day he would find
someone or something different. Most people would think that the forest was
creepy but Bill thought it was beautiful.
One day he was walking through
the woods when suddenly he saw a small black locket lying on the branch of a
nearby birch tree. He slowy walked to the tree and grabbed it. BOOM! Something
yellow and gold flew out from the locket, It blinded his eyes for a moment and
then it drifted down towards the ground and burst into flames. Stunned at this
sight he ran back to the cottage and decided that he had only imagined it.
The next day he returned to that
exact spot to see if the incident the day before had really happened. Bill
searched and searched until he came across the identical ornament that had
given him such a fright yesterday.
Bill opened it to find a huge
pile of ashes and wondered if these belonged to that very same flame like
creature. A small beak popped up from the ashes, it was as red as the flames he
had seen not long ago, Bill shouted “What in the name of blazes is this!”
Bill grew up in West Virginia where there were
no myths or legend abouts fire creatures. Bill closed the locket, hung it
around his neck and shrugged, “Well I guess I’ll take it back anyways.”
He skipped back home knowing that
he would no longer have to feel scared about this locket. That night when Bill
slept he started to feel hot on the inside almost as if something was about to
come out of his chest . . . ‘Click’ the locket slowly creaked open and a
magnificent bird flew out of it. Bill awoke with a start, “Oh my, grandpa won’t
be very happy about this.” He tried catching it but had no luck. At last he
managed to catch it and crammed it into a cage.
Making sure that the creature was
secure he set off wandering back into the forest. It started to rain so he
found shelter underneath a big oak tree. the forest was made up out of many
different trees like Elm, Fir, Oak, Pine and Maple but only one Birch tree
stood out from the rest. It was the tree Bill had found the locket on.
Bill resumed his search
regardless of whether it was raining or not, for he really wanted to find more
artifacts to add to his ‘collection’.Bill screwed up his face when he had no luck
of finding something. When Bill finally got home he found that the bird had
escaped. “Why does this always happen to me?”
Once again he wandered through
the forest in search of the bird. Surprisingly Bill found the bird on top of
the one and only Birch tree. Bill wondered out loud “So… this is an enchanted
tree is it now?” Bill felt heart broken on the inside. “Will you please
come back to me?” Bill pleaded and
cried. He was filled with sadness and grief.
Bill
came back the next day “P-p-please come back!” As soon as those words came out
of his mouth the bird took flight and performed a dazzling show. Bill suddenly
realised what this meant, he must never want something for himself but to share it with the world.
The Black Hat
Once upon a time there
was a little boy. He had no friends but that didn't worry him because he loved
exploring. Now it may sound dumb to have no friends but the little boy was
different, he thought that friends were dumb and stupid.
In a way he was right
because he found some amazing things from the dark, spooky forest. One time he
found a real Egyptian armour and a book of magic spells.
One day he snuck out of
the house and went out exploring through the dark, creepy, damp forest hoping to find something new. When he
got to the forest entrance he took a big gulp and a shiver then ran really fast
like a cheetah.
Suddenly he tripped up
over something. Ohhhhhh woow slam! The boy got up with salty tears in his eyes
and scratches on his legs, but that didn't stop him from his adventure.
After the incident the
boy was curious about what he tripped over. He thought it was a little branch
but he knew it wasn't a branch so he went back to where he tripped and he found
a black hat.
He leaped into the air
with excitement and yelled, “Yippeeee!” then ran back home. The boy tried the
mysterious hat on. “It fits!” the
boy yelled. He wouldn't take off the mysterious black hat.
It was finally night time
so the boy gently put the hat beside his bed and drifted off to sleep. That
night something magical happened. Glorious peaceful creatures crawled out of
the hat. The creatures sparkled like diamonds in the sun.
The boy woke up with
excitement he couldn't believe what he was seeing. But he was selfish he kept
the wonderful, mysterious creatures in a rusty old cage.
The creatures started to
get depressed and their glimmering color started to fade like a weak joke. The
boy began to feel sad too so he opened up one of the cages and grabbed the creature.
Wosssshhhhh! The creature flew out of the little boys hands then dashed through
the dark forest.
The boy rushed outside
and ran after the beautiful, lugubrious bird. After a few minutes the boy
finally found magical bird on a old, raged tree. The boy burst into tears and
cried, “Please, oh please come back to me magical bird.” The bird didn't make a
move so the little boy sadly walked back home.
Meanwhile when the boy
got home he noticed that two more birds had escaped. The boy screamed loud
enough to shatter the old dirty windows. He quickly blazed through the forest
andto where he remembered the first bird was.
At last the boy reached
the destination and saw all the magical birds sitting on the tree. Then
something shocking happened. The birds started fly in circles and because they
had a beautiful color it looked like a disco ball. The boy suddenly knew what
he had to do so he dashed back out of the forest and ran back home. He was
going to let out the other birds.
He said good bye to the
birds then opened the cages. Whoossssh! The birds scattered out of the window
then into the forest. The little boy ran too because he wonderd what was going
to happen. Finally they reached the location where the birds got in a big clump
and flew around.
Suddenly all the other
forest animals started joining in. It was like the forest was having a party.
The birds finally had freedom and the boy had animal friends.
The Black Hat
Once upon a time there was a boy who lived with his old, mute
grandma. They lived in a rusty house but I bet it will be nice in the
inside. One day he was asleep and he
woke up. He was walking through the forest as he saw something sparkling on the
ground. He walked over to it and picked it up. It was a black hat, but then
creatures started to drop out onto the ground. He decided to take the creatures
home.
The next day he woke up and two creatures flew away so he found
them and then they left again so then he went home. He was so sad that he had
tears dripping down the front of his eyes. He was very upset and horrified that
his creatures had flown away into the coldness, but they were happy that they
were set free. Every day the boy would get lonely not having his creatures with
him.
Then his sister flew over to the country from a sunny place.
She walked inside her brothers’ house to see him unhappy. There was nothing
that would cheer the boy up. One day his sister and him set off on an adventure
through the tiny bushy forest, watching the birds fly with the freezing, cold
wind. He was getting worried because he thought the birds were going to freeze
so he tried to call them back but they did not listen.
The Amulet
There once was a little boy named Sirius who was curious and arrogant. He had been living with his mute grandfather in a century old cabin in the woods.
Since there was no one to play with Sirius went on long walks. One day he got up extra early and went to his granddad and told him that he would be back by breakfast. He set off on an adventure to find something new. He wasn’t successful at finding anything but on his way back he accidentally stumbled over a pile of pebbles. He saw a gleam of maroon among the pebbles. He laughed with delight! He had found a maroon amulet sitting on a pile of cherry wood.
He put it on and he went back home. He loved the colour maroon and thought it would go nice with his clothes. He had loved it so much he held it firmly while he slept. Suddenly at 11:59pm a magical dog appeared out of the amulet.
He was so stunned when he saw the dog. Every day at 11:59pm a new animal came out. On Monday it was the dog, on Tuesday was a cat and the cycle continued for several more days. While he was hunting for more stuff he found some cages and odd looking jars. He put the animals in the cages. Every day he looked at the stunning animals admiring them with each glance.
One day he saw one of the cages was empty. He ran as fast as he could to the exact place where he had found the amulet. He saw the dog sitting there waiting for him. When he looked into the dog's glistening eyes he knew what he must do.
He ran faster than a paragon falcon and grabbed all of the animals’ cages and set them free. “Be free animals!” he exclaimed and all of the animals that could fly, flew so high their wings looked like a firework display. Sirius never again caged an other animal in his life.

He decided
to take it home. The boy loved it. He took it to bed and when he went to bed he
saw colourful birds. When he saw it he trapped them all.
But one of
the birds escaped the cage. The boy went and looked for it. It didn’t come
back, only the normal birds. He was sad. Then he found the lost bird. He said,
“Come down I want you.” But it did not come down. So he walked home.
The Red Hat
CHARACTERS:
Danny (bro)
Aunt Larra
Whiskers (cat)
Amy (sis)
There once
was a little boy named Danny who lived with his Aunt, a cat named Whiskers, and
his sis named Amy. He couldn't talk with his Aunt because she was deaf, only
sign language worked. One day Danny took a very long walk then… he found a
hat! Danny took that hat home. It wasn't
a fancy hat; it was just red like cherries.
After
a while, when Danny left the hat in his room to go for a walk… Amy sneaked in
Danny’s room then took that hat! She was surprised what she saw; beautiful birds
flying out of the hat!
Amy
trapped the beautiful birds in cages. Then she put the cages in her room. BUT
she left the hat in Danny’s room. When Whiskers noticed she felt evil! So she
sneaked the cages outside. She unleashed some birds, then put the cages back
into Amy's room.
The
very next day Danny looked at the hat.
He felt like someone had touched the hat! THEN Danny realised something…
a finger mark of… Amy’s fingers! He knew that Amy had touched that hat! He saw
beautiful birds fly out of the hat. He wanted the birds to go!
When
Amy went in her room… she saw no birds! Danny trapped the birds right next to a
volcano! “It's
like a mouse sneaked them AND stole them!” thought Amy.
“Amy! Danny! Get your shoes on! We are going to be late!”
the old lady called. Amy knew her brother hid the birds, because he was always
stealing her stuff! So she hid the hat which made Danny sad because he thought
he had treasure. Nobody ever heard about that hat or the birds ever again. THE
END!
The Three Birds
Once
upon a time there was a short boy named Chris. He lived with his old wrinkly
Uncle Jack who looked like a witch. They lived in a very cold planet called
Neptune. They tried to find a house but instead they lived in a big, scary
haunted house. His bed was rough as a stone.
Chris
drifted off to sleep for an hour. When he was asleep he blinked and he saw
something bright. He saw three birds with colourful wings. The butterflies were
big and bright. He quickly swooped down with a jar and caught the birds and
butterflies. It was because other children at school was jealous of him
Suddenly
he woke and he saw one cage that was open. He went out to searching for the
bird. He looked in the bushes but he wasn’t there so he checked the tallest
tree and he found him. He begged the bird to “Please come down!” but he just
ignored him.
So
he went back home and he saw two cages open. He went straight back to that tree
where he just came from. He was right. The birds were there. He told them
please come back but the birds did not want to come back.
So
he thought to himself they do need freedom. He rushed back home like flash and
opened all the jars, so the creatures could be free back home where they lived
happily.
He was very sorry for the creatures because he
locked them up in the cages, so Chris visited them every morning after sleeping
in his bed.
On
the first day November he woke up in a happy mood. He went to the tree where
the birds were. When he got there the colourful birds were having fun. They made
lots of friends in the dark, deep and creepy forest.

The Black Hat
Once upon a time a short, mischievous boy lived with his mute old, wrinkly, grandmother in a rusty cabin. He was lonely, he had no friends and he was curious. One day he quietly snuck out for a stroll hoping he would find something new. Bang! He slammed the door and ran outside.
He went for a walk in the dark, damp, muddy forest. The forest was pitch black like a pit of darkness. He loved the great smell of the forest. As he slowly walked, he could barely see the forest. Crunch! Branches of twigs were falling. He quickly rushed through the scary forest.
He saw something under a tree. It was a mysterious black hat. He put on his head. He grew so attached to it, he never took it off his head. It was nearly morning so he quickly rushed back to his rusty old cabin.
That dark night when he woke up, he saw beautiful dazzling birds and butterflies. He jumped with excitement. He had never seen these animals before. He put them in small jars and big cages so they wouldn’t get away, they were like animals in a zoo.
One day when the sun was shining bright and the wind was whistling, he saw his bird was gone. He ran to the forest as quick as he could looking for that dazzling bird.
He looked everywhere. Eventually he found the bird on top of the huge tree in the forest. He yelled, “Please come back.”
The next day the other birds were gone, before long all the beautiful animals had escaped. He ran back to the huge tree where he saw all the animals. ‘‘Please come back!” yelled the boy. When he saw them glimmering more than ever he didn’t feel sad anymore. He knew they belonged in their natural habitat so they can show their beauty.
The Black Hat
One day a creepy, small, lonely boy and his mute, tall, wise
Grandmother came to the dark, muddy, wild forest.
The boy was walking around the damp, silent, windy forest
when something touched him. It was a shiny, glowing, black hat. He picked up
the shiny, glowing, black hat. His heart was beating hard and he was nearly
getting a heart attack. His heart sounded like a person playing up and down on
a trumpet.
The boy ran to his house fast as cheetah. He jumped straight
into the creepy, cool bed. The next day, when he woke up he saw lots of birds,
rats, monkeys and butterflies. He put the animals in the cage and the animals
stayed in the cage for 3 years.
After 3 years the boy thought if I let the animals go the
damp muddy forest will look beautiful and the animals will have fun. He let the
animals go and he lived happily ever after.
The end
